I was arrested 09/07/08. I have already been to court on 09/11/08. This is my first offence and did not know there was an option for me to get a lawyer. I do have a DMV hearing scheduled for 10/15/08. I am wondering if a lawyer can help me at this point?

Arrested for suspected DWI on 5/2/08. Took multiple breathalyzer tests. Arresting officer (CHP) said that the readings were showing up void. He took me to the hospital for a BAC test. After receiving my test results for my DMV hearing all charges were thrown out. BAC of 0.00%. The police report is very inconsistent. I need to know exactly what I should do. I had to take 3 days off of work for each of my hearings (court and DMV) and received a bill from the hospital for the blood test. I feel I was harassed. The arresting officer's words in the report are either full lies, an extreme stretch of the truth, or physically impossible on the road we were driving.

My left front brake locked up and put my vehicle into a ditch, called 911, cops showed up. Gave me a breath test after I threw up then took me to jail for the evening. Had 4 or 5 drinks between 730 and 8 in the evening nothing else until I left Topeka at 1/115am.
